Since temperature compensation is at the “heart” of accurate water measurement, all Myron L CTCII controllers feature a highly refined and precise TC circuit. Dramatically Improved Spent Filter Backwash Water Quality and Recovery

Leopold® Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems deliver superior performance over simple or enhanced sludge removal.

In the DAF process, a small dose of polymer is introduced to the spent filter backwash water to bind together particles, creating floc. A small portion of the DAF effluent is recycled under pressure, and air is dissolved into it. When this air-saturated water is released into the DAF basin under standard temperature and pressure, millions of microbubbles are formed that attach to the floc and float it to the surface. The floc blanket that forms is removed and the effluent is introduced to the filter.
